When to choose Direct Install
Use Direct Install when Metricus-managed billing or partner delivery is the better fit.
Direct Install is designed for cases where the buyer, consultant or partner wants flexible billing and delivery outside the standard Atlassian Marketplace subscription path.
Customer subscription
Use a customer subscription when the customer wants ongoing Process Advisor access managed through the Metricus Billing Portal.
Partner subscription
Use a partner subscription when a partner wants to deliver Process Advisor assessments across multiple clients or package it into a recurring offer.

Before installation
- Confirm whether the engagement will use assessment credits, a customer subscription or a partner subscription.
- Confirm who will own Billing Portal setup and key management.
- Confirm whether a partner-branded Direct Install version is required.
- Confirm the target environment and any customer approval requirements.
Installation flow
- Open the Metricus Direct Install URL: https://process-advisor.metricus.com/jira.
- Follow the Jira Direct Install onboarding steps provided by Metricus.
- Connect the instance to the Metricus Billing Portal using the relevant keys.
- Select assessment credits, a customer subscription or a partner subscription.
- Create a controlled process model and validate the assessment output.
